Tequilas


Blanco or Silver Tequila – is called “young” tequila. Fresh from the still, it is bottled immediately after distillation or held up to 60 days in stainless steel tanks. This is the best Tequila for making margaritas because of its bright, clean and true blue agave flavor.

Gold Tequila – sometimes called “Joven,” is an un-aged silver Tequila that is colored and flavored with caramel. These Tequila blends, or mixtos are very sweet and smooth making them perfect for shots and Frozen Margaritas

Reposado Tequila – in spicy and complex with a beautiful mouthfeel and bouquet. It is rested in white oak casks from two months up to a year, giving the oak a chance to add a bit of character and mellow the burn just a bit. This type of Tequila is the best-selling Tequila in Mexico

Anejo Tequila – is old tequila. These Tequilas are aged in white or French oak barrels (and often used Bourbon barrels) for a minimum of 1 year producing a dark, very robust spirit. The best mixtos are aged between 18 months and 3 years while the best 100% agave Tequila is aged for up to 4 years. Añejo is best enjoyed in a snifter to appreciate its aroma.
